How I Raked In $957 Working From Home & Starbucks

If it’s one thing I’ve noticed, it’s that people don’t believe something is real until they see some real results.

Would you have seen Michael Jordan as being this super awesome basketball player if you never saw some of the simply amazing things he did on the court?

Of course not; he would have just been another bald-headed guy with a fetish for sticking his tongue out while playing ball in some shoes with a dude on them.

I’m no different. When I first started blogging, I got the “making money online? Aint that a scam” talk from a few people. They really believed that you can’t make any money online. If you did, you were either a super nerd or an IT grad. I think Mark Zuckerberg burned that image into our psyche.

Well I’m here to tell you; I’m definitely no IT grad. I barely made it out of school after 12 years. No way I could see myself struggling for another 4.

I may be looked at as a nerd because of the way I live my life, but by no means do I act like one…

So How Did I Make 957 Big Ones?

Blogging. You’ve read the site name. I really do blog 4 dollars. This money came from a combination of things which are all driven by my taking action and making moves. You have to be an action taker to succeed at anything in life. ANYTHING!

I’m going to show you strategies that I did. These are not typical results but they did work for me. Only thing I can promise is, if you never try, YOU WILL FAIL.

Email Marketing

My biggest checks came from email marketing which all came from my blogging. As always, I write blog posts that people are drawn to read.

Being that I’m a Pro Blogger, others are interested in learning this craft and being a pro also.

In doing that, they (and I hope you also) sign up to my email list to learn tips and tricks that I use to make money online.

In all the that info flying around, from my blog to my email list, I recommend the ONLY the best methods for you to achieve success hoping you follow some, if not all, of the steps I took to make to where I’m at.

When recommended products are purchased, the companies pay me and as you can see in the picture to the right, they love me.

Even the teller wanted to know what I do for a living. I had more checks than an airport after a terrorist attack.

Ads On My Sites

Ads play a huge part in making money online. I once made 247 bucks within a day of placing an ad on one of my sites. This site doesn’t have ads which I will explain in a later post. I want to focus more on bringing great content rather than making money.

On my other site, I have ads that are relevant to my blog. If I have a site about shoes, you better believe there’s going to be some sort of ad about shoes. Visitors will be more likely to click an ad if it’s pertaining to their interest; which is why they’re on your site.

Google Adsense

I got most of my ad revenue from Google Adsense on one of my high traffic sites. I actually broke my old record for money made in a month because I found a hot topic that EVERYBODY was talking about. Let’s just say, as I’m writing this, Beyoncé and her pregnancy is a pretty huge thing.

Slapped an ad or 2 on their and cha ching!!

YouTube Pays

I recently did a blog post explaining how to make money from YouTube and eventually become a YouTube partner. Therefore I’m not giving to many details on that subject but a pretty good part of my Google Adsense income came from YouTube views (they work together)

It’s all about putting out content that people want to see… Always remember that. It’s one of the biggest secrets of making money online and it’s not really a secret. Would you be reading this if you weren’t interest in making money online?

In Conclusion

These are methods I use to make money online and there are too many to name. You can make money on twitter, Facebook, other people’s forums and even LinkedIn just to name a few more.

Truth is, wouldn’t be where I’m at right now (I’m actually at Starbucks on my MacBook) if I didn’t take action.

In order for you to really know what you can’t do, you have to try. Most people let other people influence them and that’s when our mirror neurons kick in and they then feel they can’t do it.

The way I look at it is if everyone else CAN do it, then so the heck can I and I mean that with every fiber of my being.

Get out and do something. Start a blog.. that’s what I did; and as you can see, it’s working out quite well for me.
